SANI-SPORT CLEANING EQUIPMENT

The Problem…….
Perspiration from strenuous activity allows bacteria to develop deep within sports equipment. The result is potentially dangerous contact with the athlete’s skin, and the familiar odors associated with hockey, football and other sports equipment.

NHL stars Joe Thornton, Ed Belfour, Mikael Renberg and Darren McCarty have all lost playing time due to bacterial infections caused by open sores becoming infected by the bacteria in their equipment.

How It Works……
Four high-intensity UV lights covert oxygen (O2) into Ozone (O3). The ozone is then circulated throughout the equipment by two complimenting fans for twelve minutes, killing up to 96% of the bacteria present. A patented Ecomist solution, containing natural Tea Tree Oil, is then fogged deep into the equipment to attack the remaining bacteria. The final step is to seal the process with a scented bactericide creating a protective shield on the equipment.

How You Can Help…….
Your equipment should be completely dry. You should pull skate laces out to the final two lace holes. We will process the following hockey items in a single cycle: One pair each of skates, gloves, pants, shin guards and elbow pads; a set of shoulder pads; one helmet; one jock; and one collapsible hockey bag.

What You Need To Know..
This is not another fragrance or cover-up, but a scientific, biological process designed to eliminate bacteria and the resulting odors from sports equipment. The residual ozone left in the equipment has a scent that is slightly medicinal, but is not unpleasant.

The Sani Sport process takes approximately thirty (30) minutes, and will be performed on a first come, first serve basis. Equipment is ready to use immediately upon completion.

There is no way to determine how long the Sani Sport treatment will last with your equipment. Skates and gloves are the most   difficult to treat. Players still need to air dry their equipment after it is used to extend the effectiveness of the Sani Sport process.
